Business & Industrial Parks

Business Depot Ogden

Business Depot Ogden (BDO) is a 1,118 acre master-planned business park with existing and build-to-suit space. BDO is a former military warehousing and distribution center known as Defense Depot Ogden. BDO has received a $65 million infrastructure investment, with upgraded roads, telecommunications, water, sewer, and the electrical grid. In addition to the infrastructure, the Boyer Company has invested $155 million in new construction and BDO tenants have invested $90 million into their facilities. Over 115 companies and 5,800 employees are currently located at BDO.

BDO has 11.5 million square feet of office and industrial space and 500 acres available for build to suit. Lease rates are highly competitive, due to the unique public-private partnership between Ogden City and the Boyer Company.

Ogden Business Exchange

The Ogden Business Exchange is transforming the former Ogden Union Stockyards into a vibrant, state-of-the-art business and light industrial park. Designed with outdoor recreation companies in mind, site design emphasizes sustainability with features such as bioswales, and provides access to outdoor amenities such as cycling routes, the Weber River, and open space. The Ogden Business Exchange is close to downtown Ogden and the local commuter train station.

Space at the Ogden Business Exchange is available for sale or lease. Lots for sale range from 1.2 to 5.1 ac at a cost of $7 per square foot. Space will also be available for lease in several flex space buildings.

Ogden-Hinckley Airport

The Ogden-Hinckley Airport (OGD) is a municipal airport with commercial flights, general aviation service, and affordable, high-quality space for other aviation and aerospace uses. OGD is an FAA-certified Part 139 airport. It has an FAA control tower, as well as runways (3/21 and 16/34) and taxiways that are in excellent condition.

The Kemp Ogden Gateway Center is a 47+ acre business park dedicated to aerospace and aviation uses located at the Ogden-Hinckley Airport. There is existing and build-to-suit space available for runway-adjacent office and hangar space. Northrop Grumman recently relocated 250 engineering jobs to the Kemp Center. Businesses that locate at the Kemp Center benefit from the capacity of the airport and the services offered there (with three fixed-base operators, paint and wash facility, and engine run-up area).
